Business Development Associate

Description

We are looking for a driven and customer-focused Business Development Associate, with a shared passion for cricket and sports. While you will be operating out of Zelion Cricket Store, Kochi, you won't be having a standard retail shopkeeper role. You will be promoting and driving direct sales, responding to inbound inquiries, and proactively converting leads generated through our digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Digital Sales & Lead Conversion: Actively manage and convert customer inquiries coming through Instagram, WhatsApp, and other online platforms.
• Customer Engagement: Provide highly personalized service via chat, phone, and face-to-face interactions, offering expert advice on our premium cricket bats and equipment.
• Client CRM: Proactively reach out to our global database of past customers and domestic/international resellers and dealers to communicate new stock arrivals, product launches, and exclusive offers.
• Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock checks, monitor product demand, raise restock requests, and log all real-time updates accurately.
• Operational Support: Assist with daily retail operations, fulfill online and in-store orders.

What We Are Looking For

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively closing sales and engaging with domestic and international clients.
• Strong understanding of cricket and professional cricket equipment.
